Or you can just take the opportunity to offload a bit and have a chat with other parents who experience some of the same challenges as you, over a cup of tea or coffee.

Our Voice is pleased to offer our 'Introduction to Positive Behaviour Support' workshops for parent carers.
Our next session will run at the Cheviots Children's Centre from 10 am to 12 noon on Thursday 21st November 24. See also our flyer here.

The outcome should be to improve the quality of life for the child/young person and their whole family.
We will look at how families can work with the whole network of people around their child/young person (for example school staff, professionals in social care settings etc) to enable a consistent approach around the child/young person.
The training will be run by expert members of the Our Voice team who have training in PBS and lived experience of using the techniques with their own children.
Please note that this session will not include a detailed Q&A session to explore individual scenarios about your child's behaviour - but you can also go along to one (or more) of the monthly PBS drop-in sessions at Cheviots to discuss these questions and challenges with professionals from the Cheviots team, and Our Voice team members with personal lived experience. See details in the flyer. The next sessions will be on Fridays 4th October, 8th November and 6th December 10 am - 12 pm.
